🚀 Our incredible volunteers gave over 10,000 hours of their time to students last school year, and they’re ready to level up for 2025-2026!

📚 Today, ladies from the UAPB Alumni Association kicked off a monthly Book Club with our third graders at College Station and Harris Elementaries. Kids also had a friend scavenger hunt where they had to get signatures from the other school's scholars.

Today two of our teachers showed off their UALR gear and reminded us that college isn’t just a dream—it’s a plan! 🎓 Fun Fact: Did you know that students who wear college gear at school are more likely to start conversations about college and see it as a real option for their future? Ms. Aishman’s class took teamwork to new heights—literally! 🏗️✨ Students worked together to build pyramids out of solo cups without ever touching the cups with their hands. It took patience, problem-solving, and plenty of laughs, but the results were awesome! 🙌💡

🧠💡 Coach Nantze’s Health classes have been busy diving into Emotional Health and Coping Strategies this week! Students worked together to create posters that promote positive ways to handle stress, manage emotions, and support healthy learning. From calming techniques to uplifting reminders, their presentations are all about helping classmates find smart, healthy ways to cope with life’s challenges. 👏 Way to go, Bears—taking care of our minds is just as important as taking care of our bodies! 🐻💙
