Lucy McGinty, a first grader from Sherwood Elementary, is a finalist in the Arkansas Peace Week state art competition. Her artwork is titled, "Peace Is About Helping." Lucy's artwork will be displayed at the Arkansas State Capitol November 10 -16, 2024. Award winners will be announced at an event at the Arkansas State Capitol Rotunda on November 16. The art winners will be announced at 1pm. These events are free and open to the public.
