WE DID IT!!! Nearly 3000 students and staff from our Sylvan Hills feeder connected to create the longest human electrical circuit. We're so thankful for all those who came out today to join us and support this endeavor. More pictures and videos to come! We'll announce we have official word of approval from Guinness in about a week.

TOMORROW is the big day! At approximately 10am, we will attempt to break the world record for the longest human electric current. A few notes for those in the area:
•Dee Jay Hudson and Bear Paw roads will be closed while this event takes place
•Fire trucks will go off for the full minute during the attempt
•This event is NOT open to the public
•Students - bring a rain jacket (just in case)

We almost forgot to give a special shout out and thank you to Cassandra Webb from KATV for making a special visit to Sherwood Elementary last month! 1st grade students got a special treat as Mrs. Webb visited our school to read to students. She read "The Very Cranky Bear" and then students had the chance to ask questions about being in the news. She even interviewed a few students for a future segment on KATV.
