
November is Child Safety and Protection Month. The National Safety Council and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration encourage teen drivers to put down their cell phones, slow down and wear a seatbelt.

Wear your costumes and come join the fun at PTO’s Fall Carnival! The carnival is tonight from 6-8. Tickets can be purchased or picked up in the Media Center. Don’t forget to test drive a car tonight. See you at the Fall Carnival!

PreK Teachers from across the district went to the Arkansas Early Childhood Association Conference last week. The learning never ends!

Don't forget, students can earn up to 10 free tickets for the Fall Carnival by bringing in candy, Halloween trinkets, 2 liter bottles of soda, or boxes of snack cakes. Each item brought will earn students 1 free ticket.

This week is National School Bus Safety Week. The school bus ride is an extension of the school day and PCSSD schools is committed to providing a safe transportation experience for all students across the district.

Every PCSSD staff member is encouraged to wear red on Tuesday, October 15 in honor of World Dyslexia Day.


Third grade Science Lab: Cloud in a Jar experiment ! Students experimented with how many drops of water it would take to make their cloud rain.





October is National Bullying Prevention Month. The National Bullying Prevention Center provides a "Kids Against Bullying" pledge encouraging kids to speak up against bullying, support those being bullied & to be a friend when they see bullying. http://ow.ly/snaM50wEVmm
