Dear Parents,
It’s hard to believe that we are already 112 days into the school year. There are a few procedures that I wanted to remind you of to help keep our students safe and our learning environment at its best.
First, arrival of the school day, please make sure students are only dropped off in the front of the building. If you must park, please park in a legal parking place and walk your student to the building. Students must be accompanied by an adult if they are in the parking lot. Duty teachers are on duty to supervisor the students being dropped off and students walking on to campus. The front drop off is the only place where students may be dropped off. (not the sidewalk)
Second, if you are walking your pre-k student to class please be mindful that the hallways are to be clear of noise. Please refrain from talking on cell phones and having conversations with others in the hall. If you have children with you, please keep them closely with you and remind them that they are to be quiet and walking in the building. There should be no running in the building. Please remember that if you enter the building after 8 a.m., you must check in at the office.
Side entrances and exits are not to be used in the mornings. The only exit to be used is the front/exit entrance. There is a special dismissal exit for pre-k and head start in the afternoon.
Thank you for helping keep our students safe and our learning environment at its best.
